Ray Ledger is a Dickson County Commissioner serving District 13 and owner of Quick Flow HVAC. Ray was elected DCPAAA Vice President in 2023 and 2024 and elected President in 2025.

Angela Ferebee works is a Sales Support Specialist at Hiscall, Inc. She is the Secretary and Marketing Director for the South DC Basketball League. Angela was elected DCPAAA Secretary in 2022, 2023 and 2024 and was elected Vice President in 2025.

Pam Lewis is the Circuit Court Clerk for Dickson County since 2002. She volunteers her time for many events in Dickson County. Pam was elected DCPAAA Secretary in 2025.

Julie Ashworth is a Vice President at F&M Bank in White Bluff. She spends her spare time volunteering at local community events. Julie was elected DCPAAA Treasurer in 2023.

The City of Dickson Police Department CPA is coordinated by Captain Jessica Blackwell.
The Basic CPA class is approximately 10 weeks in its entirety. Typically starting the first week in March and ending with Graduation the first week of May.
Each week, citizens will learn different aspects surrounding law enforcement starting with meeting Chief Seth Lyles, his staff and taking a tour of the Police Department. Meet 911 Dispatchers, hear from our School Resource Officers, meet the K9 Officers and even how the Judicial System works. Most classes are hands on and everyone will get the chance to drive a police vehicle and do a ride-a-long with a city officer.
The application process for this class begins in January.

The Dickson County Sheriff’s Office CPA is coordinated by Lieutenant Jennifer Caruthers.
The Basic CPA class is approximately 10 weeks in its entirety. Typically starting the first week in March and ending with Graduation the first week of May.
Each week, citizens will learn about each division and how they work together. Class starts with meeting Sheriff Tim Eads, Deputy Chief Teddy Murphy and taking a tour of the Sheriff’s Office. Learn about patrol, warrants, jail intake, CID, the Judicial System and meet the Mounted Patrol. Most classes are hands on, and everyone will get the chance to ride-a-long with a sheriff’s deputy.
The application process for this class begins in January.

The City of Dickson Police Department and Dickson County Sheriff’s Office team up for the Advanced CPA. The class coordinated by Captain Jessica Blackwell and Lieutenant Jennifer Caruthers.
The Advanced CPA class is approximately 11 weeks in its entirety. Classes start in early September and ends with Graduation in mid-November.
Each week will be hands on and in different locations. The class will have the opportunity to work a crime scene scenario from start to finish.
The Advanced Class is offered to those individuals who have completed the City or County CPA class.

Officer Zack McCay a.k.a. “The Dancing Cop”
Zack was a motor officer for the City of Dickson Police Department and the morning school traffic controller at the Dickson County High School. He smiled, waved and danced every morning! Zack was a devoted husband to Jennifer and a loving father to Kaylee.
Zack lost his battle with a medical issue in 2022.

DCPAAA proudly hosts the Officer Zack McCay Memorial Scholarship Fund. Each year, DCPAAA takes applications and awards $500-$1,000 scholarships to local high school graduates. We gladly accept donations for this fund.

Because of Zack and our community, we have raised over $10,000 to date and given over $6,000.00 to deserving students in Dickson County.
We hope that each year gets bigger and better.
The ride ends with lunch, silent auction, raffle for a gun and selling half chickens and bbq bologna.

THE OFFICER ZACK MCCAY MEMORIAL RIDE WAS STARTED IN 2023. ZACK WAS A MOTOR OFFICER WITH THE CITY OF DICKSON POLICE DEPARTMENT AND LOVED RIDING MOTORCYCLES DURING OFF TIME AS WELL. THE RIDE WAS STARTED TO HONOR ZACK AS WELL AS TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND.
